I have been writing about music, local and otherwise, since 2004. Currently I write for Star News in Wilmington, N.C. (beginning in 2010). Prior to that I published my own arts-music-culture magazines Avenue and Bootleg between 2005 and 2009 in Wilmington spanning fifty three issues.

In addition to articles for Star News I contributed weekly content about music, movies, etc. to their entertainment blog. That blog site has ended and I started AVENUE to have a place in which to focus on Wilmington music, bands visiting the area, N.C. bands, movies, and more. It will continue to be a work-in-progress as I add content.

In addition to new interviews, reviews, live reviews, pictures, etc. this will also serve to catalog work from Avenue, Bootleg, and articles from other publications I’ve contributed to such as Performer and The Tonic (Wilmington).
